So, I had a strange encounter last night with some twisted subconscious thoughts/dreams. I was extremely tired and full of anxiety at the time. I wanted to sleep in order to pass another night away in this place, but I was finding it difficult with looming thoughts hanging over my head. a brief snicker

if only we really cared
if only we heard
with a passing askance away
what it is we’re being told
“yes, yes, you’re quite right
I have to go now”
it’s no wonder of course
